The Fourth of July just passed; the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues to dominate the sports world, and soon, the 2026 MLB All-Star Game will arrive in Philadelphia.

From All-Star Village to the Home Run Derby and, of course, the All-Star Game itself, the five-daylong event will take place from July 10 to July 14.

Each day offers plenty of unique experiences for fans to interact with players, watch some of the MLB's best athletes compete, and more.

HBCU Swingman Classic, Friday, July 10

On the first night of All-Star weekend, the HBCU Swingman Classic will open up the festivities at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

50 Division-I collegiate baseball players from historically black colleges and universities have been split up into two teams, an American League team and a National League team.

The 50 players were selected by a committee of representatives from the MLB, MLBPA, scouts, and Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr.

The event first began in 2022, and this year's HBCU Swingman Classic is set to begin at 7 p.m. with tickets to the event still available through the MLB's website.

July 11-14, All-Star Village

All-Star Village is a multi-day event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center that will consist of unique experiences, including attractions, meet-and-greets, and other events just for fans.

On July 11 and 12, All-Star Village will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on July 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

40 baseball and Phillies icons are set to make an appearance at All-Star Village, including Andre Dawson, Dave Cash, Larry Bowa, and more.

The village will also have unique interactions for fun’s, such as being able to create their own strikeout call, stepping into the batting cages, and getting a close-up look at this year's all-star uniforms.

Each day will also feature a different giveaway, including player posters, headbands, and a model All-Star Village Ford Mustang.

For those taking children to All-Star Village, they will be able to take part in Diamond Clinics with Softball Legends, utilize batting cages and pitching tunnels, and can even get a photo with the world's largest baseball.

Tickets for All-Star Village are available through the MLB's website and come with a number of different prices and deals.

Base prices for adults are $35 and $30 for kids, with discounts available for senior citizens, military members, and college students.

Capital One cardholders can get free tickets for All-Star Village on July 13 and 14, and four tickets for the price of two can be purchased in advance for the last day of All-Star Village.

MLB Draft, Saturday, July 11

The excitement from the HBCU Swingman Classic will carry into the next day when the first four rounds of the 2026 MLB Draft will take place.

The first day of the draft is set to take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Grand Hall with the event set to begin at 1 p.m., while the last 16 rounds will take place the next day.

At this year's draft, the Philadelphia Phillies currently possess four picks in the first four rounds, with their first-round selection coming at pick 36.

Tickets to the 2026 MLB Draft have already been distributed and are no longer available for purchase through the league's website but night one will be aired on NBC or streamed through Peacock.

MLB All-Star Sunday, Sunday, July 12

The future generation of baseball's stars will face off at the All-Star Futures Game, with 50 of the top minor league prospects facing off in a seven-inning game with two Phillies making the cut.

Among the two Phillies selected to participate are 2025 first-round pick Gage Wood and Wen-Hui Pan, both of whom are pitchers.

Following the futures game, the MLB will be debuting their MLBx All-Star 3-on-3 event, a co-ed competition that modifies the home run derby where participants earn points through hits, home runs, and defensive plays.

Four teams will participate in the event, three of which are captained by Phillies legends, including Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Shane Victorino.

The Philadelphia Eagles will also be well represented at MLBx with current wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Devonta Smith participating and Hall of Famer Terrell Owens also lacing up the cleats.

Both events are set to take place at Citizens Bank Park, with the All-Star Futures Game scheduled to start at 12 p.m. and the MLBx All-Star 3-on-3 event will begin after.

Tickets are still available for fans, who will only need to purchase one ticket to attend both events, and they can be purchased on the MLB's website.

Home Run Derby, Monday, July 13

One of the highlights of All-Star weekend is the home run derby.

Eight of the best hitters from across the league will participate in three rounds with a total of 50 swings to determine who takes home the $1 million prize.

Of the eight hitters, the only one to be announced so far is Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero, a previous runner-up in the derby.

The derby will also take place at Citizens Bank Park and is set to begin at 8 p.m. with All-Star Workout Day; the preceding event, where batting practice for the event will occur, starts at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the 2026 Home Run Derby are available but only through third-party ticket marketplaces.

All-Star Red Carpet Show, Tuesday, July 14

Want to see what outfits the MLB's stars are rocking ahead of the All-Star Game? If so, the All-Star Red Carpet Show at Independence Hall between Market and Chestnut streets is for you.

Players will arrive at Independence Hall, where one player will be named best dressed ahead of the All-Star Game, with the event beginning at 2 p.m., but tickets have already been distributed and can no longer be acquired through the MLB.

For fans who did get tickets and are able to attend, they are able to reach Independence Hall through the following intersections:

  • Market St. & 6th St.
  • Ranstead St. & 6th St.
  • Chestnut St. & 5th St.

MLB All-Star Game, Tuesday, July 14

The MLB is saving the best for last, with the MLB All-Star Game capping things off at 8 p.m. inside Citizens Bank Park.

The full roster of players participating in the game was released on July 4, and the five Phillies players that made the cut are Bryce Harper, Jhoan Duran, Brandon Marsh, Cristopher Sánchez, and Kyle Schwarber.

This will be the fourth time the Philadelphia Phillies have hosted the MLB All-Star Game and the fifth time that the city has hosted it.

The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. and will conclude MLB All-Star weekend.
