Multiple reports are coming in that Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are preparing their pitches for Rafael Leao, but Milan won’t accept a loan with option to buy.
Currently in Brazil plugging his clothing line, where he got to meet childhood hero Neymar last night, the Portugal international confessed again that he is looking for a new club this summer.
Rafael Leao low on options
His plan had been to go to the Premier League or LaLiga, but there have been no firm proposals, and he is called up to join the rest of the Milan squad at the pre-season tour in Australia.
Before that, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are going to make their pitch to the player.
Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims that Fenerbahce will send over emissaries to meet personally with Rafael Leao in Italy next week.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia expert Gianluca Di Marzio insists that Galatasaray made an offer to take him on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
That was rejected by Milan, who know his contract expires in June 2028 and will only make a permanent sale.
Fenerbahce released a statement denying they had made any offer to Leao or Milan, but they made a similar step just before signing Mason Greenwood from Olympique Marseille.
