The Spain team in the dressing room during the World Cup
Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service has unveiled a new access-all-areas docuseries about Spain’s recent triumph at the FIFA World Cup.
The four-episode factual project is produced by the Real Federación Española de Fútbol in collaboration with Telefónica Broadcast Services.
They have previously worked together on previous Spanish national team docs for Prime Video, including El sabio del éxito, La Quinta de la quinta and La fuerza del grupo.
Featuring never-before-seen footage and exclusive access to players and coaching staff, the new docuseries chronicles La Roja’s journey to lifting their second World Cup trophy after beating Argentina in the final.
Meanwhile, Prime Video is gearing up to launch two-part true crime series Britain’s TikTok Murder in the UK and Ireland following a deal with distributor Sphere Abacus.
The acquisition is part of a programming deal for multiple true crime shows with Prime Video in the UK and Ireland brokered by Will Stapley, global content director at Bell Media-owned Sphere Abacus.
Produced by Phoenix Television and Born This Way Media in association with TPC, the 2×60′ show is about the murder of retired army veteran Stuart Crocker, who was found stabbed 26 times at his home, with suspicion turning to his TikTokker girlfriend Winter Swan Miller. It is set to stream on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland in September this year.
