Mikel Oyarzabal and Spain will take on Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal Monday, July 6, in a World Cup round of 16 game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The winner will compete in the tournament quarterfinals that will be made up of the final eight teams remaining.
Oyarzabal leads Spain with four goals in the tournament. He is coming off a two-goal performance against Austria in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 2.
Spain, which will serve as a co-host for the 2030 tournament, hopes to replicate its past World Cup success, having won the championship in 2010.
Portugal is still looking for its first championship, having not reached better than fourth place in 2006.
Ronaldo has led the way for Portugal with three goals. He became the first male player in history to score in six different World Cup tournaments. Ronaldo confirmed on Sunday that this will be his last World Cup.
