MIAMI GARDENS — England has its first lead against Norway in the World Cup quarterfinal at Hard Rock Stadium thanks to Jude Bellingham's second goal of the match.
Bellingham scored a goal off a rebound in the third minute of extra time against Norway on Saturday, July 11 to make the score 2-1 England. The star midfielder's 93rd minute goal was his sixth of the tournament.
The English took the lead after Morgan Rogers laced a long shot at the Norwegian goalie, who spilled it directly in front of goal for a waiting Bellingham.
The match finished regulation tied at 1-1 after England's Jude Bellingham and Norway's Andreas Schjelderup tallied in the first half. Norway had a go-ahead goal disallowed in the second half due to a foul on Erling Haaland.
