As soccer fever sweeps the globe during the FIFA World Cup, one of Brazil’s greatest players has made a move of his own—this time in South Florida.
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Kaká, has purchased an oceanfront residence at Oceana Bal Harbour, according to property records. The former FIFA World Player of the Year and 2002 World Cup champion picked up the three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath condo in one of Miami’s most exclusive beachfront enclaves.
Spanning roughly 3,345 square feet on the building’s 14th floor, the turnkey residence was designed by Ukrainian architecture and interiors firm Yodezeen. Floor-to-ceiling glass frames sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline, while 10-foot ceilings, marble and wood floors, custom closets, and private elevator access elevate the contemporary interiors. The sleek Dada kitchen is outfitted with Calacatta marble countertops and Gaggenau appliances.

Residents at the tower, built in 2016, also have access to two oceanfront pools, a spa, tennis courts, a fitness center, and concierge services. In addition, the condo comes with three parking spaces and three private storage units.
The residence changed hands for $8.7 million. Public records show the seller, Gaston Siciliano, purchased the unit in 2022 for $6.5 million. Michael Martinez of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller, while Jennifer Olmeda of WRA Real Estate Solutions represented Kaká.

One of the defining stars of his generation, Kaká helped lead Brazil to its fifth World Cup title in 2002 before enjoying decorated club careers with AC Milan and Real Madrid. The midfielder won the Ballon d’Or in 2007, becoming the last player to receive the honor before Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo began their decade-long dominance of the award. He retired in 2017 after finishing his playing career with Orlando City SC in Major League Soccer.

His latest purchase adds another internationally known footballer to South Florida’s growing roster of soccer stars. Lionel Messi owns multiple luxury properties in the region, including residences in Sunny Isles Beach and Fort Lauderdale, while Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham recently sold his penthouse at One Thousand Museum and maintains a waterfront home on Miami Beach‘s North Bay Road. Earlier this year, fellow Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos also expanded his South Florida holdings, paying $5 million for a pair of condos at Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale.
