Tennis fans miss Carlos Alcaraz. On Wednesday, video emerged of him hitting forehands with that healing wrist. That got fans extremely excited for his expected return to the Cincinnati Open in a couple of weeks.

On Thursday, Alcaraz debuted a new hairstyle. This is a big departure from his previous noteworthy ones, including the buzz cut and the platinum blonde dye job affectionately called “blondecaraz.” It also is a noticeable change from his recent fluffy long-locked look at the FIFA World Cup final. The long hair was clearly part of a well-orchestrated hair plan that now makes perfect sense.
