This week, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was spotted attending a 2026 FIFA World Cup match between Tunisia and the Netherlands at Arrowhead Stadium.
Mahomes — who is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a brutal knee injury that prematurely ended his 2025 regular-season campaign — could be seen on the jumbotron at Arrowhead Stadium during the game, marking a rare appearance on the Chiefs' home turf as a spectator.
A picture of Mahomes' cameo during the World Cup matchup between Tunisia and the Netherlands was shared to Twitter by Matt Foster, a Sports Reporter for KSHB 41 in Kansas City:
An avid soccer fan, Mahomes should be expected to continue being a fixture at Arrowhead Stadium while the Chiefs play their part as hosts of World Cup matches through the end of June and into July.
Stay tuned to see which other games Mahomes will decide to watch in person as the 2026 FIFA World Cup runs its course.
