St. Louis looks for a breakthrough after losses in the semifinals each of the last two seasons. The Battlehawks landed the No. 2 seed on the strength of a 16-3 win at Louisville in Week 6 in their only meeting during the regular season. St. Louis lost two of its final three games and is on its third starting quarterback this season in Luis Perez, who threw for 1,023 yards with four touchdowns and six interceptions in four starts to close the campaign. Hakeem Butler led the UFL with 641 receiving yards, averaging a record 22.1 yards per catch. The defense led the league, surrendering only 243.2 yards per game.
The Kings opened the season 0-3 before winning six of their last seven games after trading Jason Bean and installing Chandler Rogers at quarterback. Louisville finished the season with four straight wins, averaging 172 rushing yards per game during that span. Defensively, the Kings led the league with 17 takeaways, including 13 interceptions, and Cam Gill broke the UFL single-season sack record with 10. Their only loss in the last seven weeks came to the Battlehawks.
The winner advances to Friday’s United Bowl against either the top-seeded Orlando Storm or the defending champion DC Defenders at Audi Field in Washington.
This is a great UFL football matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
