The Netherlands’ last-32 showdown with Morocco has the potential to be the standout tie of the round as they meet in Monterrey on Monday. De Oranje advanced as Group F winner while Morocco was unfortunate to settle for second place in Group C behind World Cup heavyweight Brazil.
A single place separates No. 7 Morocco from the Netherlands at No. 8 in the official FIFA pecking order coming into this fixture. The two teams meet at the Estadio BBVA in Monday’s late kick-off, having each produced some beautiful soccer up until this point in the tournament.

Morocco will have the benefit of some added respite after resting a number of key individuals for its 4-2 triumph over Haiti last time out.
