Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is considering a significant change to the AT&T Stadium ahead of the 2027 NFL season.
The Cowboys’ stadium hosted nine matches at the 2026 World Cup this summer, the most of all 16 tournament venues.
These included England’s 4-2 group stage victory over Croatia and the semi-final between Spain and France.
NFL players have often complained about the glare of the sunlight through the windows, making it difficult for them to see.
However, the soccer players at the World Cup had no such issues after FIFA installed curtains to block out the sun.
Jones was asked about keeping the curtains for the NFL season, given that several Cowboys players have raised the issue.

Jerry Jones did not appear interested in having curtains at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium during the NFL season.
However, Jones admitted that he is considering replacing the existing windows with tinted ones to have a similar effect.
“It’s hard to tell because the sun is not the same this time of year as it is in the fall,” he explained. “The angle of the sun changes from September year-round.
“But as we look at it, I like some of the effects of the tinting, so we’re giving that a thought.”
Many Cowboys players, including wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, will be delighted if the tinted windows are approved.
