Lenovo has delivered the best quarter in its history, with record revenue of 26.9 billion dollars and a profit increase of 176 percent. The growth is primarily driven by the Hybrid AI strategy, which accounted for 35 percent of total revenue.
Lenovo published the results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026/27. The company achieved revenue of 26.9 billion dollars, an increase of 43 percent compared to the same period last year. Profit after tax rose by 176 percent to 1.1 billion dollars, exceeding 1 billion dollars for the first time. AI-related revenue grew by 60 percent to 9.3 billion dollars.
Record figures for all divisions
The Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) saw its revenue increase by 27 percent to 17.1 billion dollars. Lenovo strengthened its position as the global market leader in PCs with a market share of 24.2 percent and also remains number one in AI PCs with 25.1 percent. The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) nearly doubled its revenue, which rose by 98 percent to 8.5 billion dollars. Operating profit reached a record of 777 million dollars.
The Solutions and Services Group (SSG) achieved revenue of 2.9 billion dollars, an increase of 28 percent. Profit rose by 39 percent to 697 million dollars, with a record margin of 24.2 percent.
Hybrid AI as a growth engine
Lenovo views its Hybrid AI strategy as the driving force behind its growth. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the company provided AI solutions as FIFA’s official technology partner. Additionally, Lenovo continues to invest in innovation, with a 30 percent increase in R&D spending. The company also climbed 43 places in the Fortune Global 500, to position 153.
