Liverpool are monitoring AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, according to Foot Mercato.
Crystal Palace have already made a ‘concrete offer’ for Camara, while Nottingham Forest and Manchester United are also interested.
Monaco are actively looking to sell the 22-year-old to balance their books. They value him at around €50 million (£43m).
Camara was a regular for Monaco last season and started three of Senegal’s four matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Camara would be a good signing for Liverpool
Camara enjoyed a stellar campaign for Monaco last term, helping them secure Europa Conference League qualification.
He would be a good addition to Liverpool’s midfield. His defensive solidity, ball-carrying ability and passing range would strengthen them in the middle of the park.
The Senegalese averaged 2.3 tackles and 1.5 interceptions per game in Ligue 1 last term, figures higher than those recorded by any Liverpool player in the Premier League.
Camara was comfortable in possession. His 1.5 key passes and 2.5 long balls per game would have ranked joint-third and second in the Liverpool squad.
However, the Reds may find it difficult to sign him. They have exhausted their non-homegrown player slots by signing Ronald Araujo on loan from Barcelona.
Liverpool are well-stocked in midfield, meaning they need to sell a player to create room for Camara. Inter Milan are interested in Curtis Jones, but negotiations are at a standstill.
The Reds are also focused on strengthening their attack and are aiming to conclude deals for Paris Saint-Germain’s Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola.
