Tuttosport had already reported last week that Jhon Lucumi agreed personal terms with Juventus, now it seems they are ready to pay Bologna €20m plus bonus.
Now transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano also confirms that the Colombia international has Juve at the top of his wish list, shaking hands on the contract he would sign.
Lucumi only wants Juventus
It’s reported to be a five-year deal worth €2.5m per season plus add-ons, even though Nottingham Forest could offer circa €1m more net annually.
The problem here has never been whether or not Lucumi wanted to join Juventus, but the club managing to agree a fee with Bologna remains the serious issue that has not been resolved.
He had a release clause set at €28m that has already expired, and the contract only runs to June 2027, but Bologna are still not prepared to let him leave for under €25m.
The latest reports suggest that Juventus have realised they cannot include player exchanges, so are prepared to offer €20m upfront plus add-ons that are easy to achieve.
