Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed is set to oversee Germany’s FIFA World Cup round of 32 meeting with Paraguay on Monday.

It is the second time Jayed will officiate a Germany match at this year’s tournament, having previously overseen their emphatic 7-1 group-stage victory over Curacao.

The Moroccan official, who was born in 1987, also refereed Portugal's 5-0 win over Uzbekistan during the group stage.

Germany's round of 32 encounter with Paraguay will be played at Boston Stadium in Foxborough on Modnay, with kick-off scheduled for 22:30 CEST.

Julian Nagelsmann's side will be aiming to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Ecuador and secure a place in the round of 16, where either France or Sweden await.
