Nicole Scherzinger electrified the stage in a custom Gaurav Gupta look for her performance during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final closing ceremony at New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday.
The Tony Award-winning “Sunset Blvd.” artist wore an electric blue gown with a sheer corseted bodice sculpted through hand-pleated wave drapery, per details shared on the avant-garde Indian couturier’s official Instagram account. She accessorized with diamond cuffs, rings, hoop earrings and ear cuffs by Kwiat. The singer performed “Desire” alongside Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini.
Scherzinger tapped stylist Michael Philouze to bring the fashion vision to life. Philouze was the style mind behind the Broadway star’s dark aesthetic at the 2026 Tony Awards in June, which included a sheer black corset gown by Zuhair Murad and Leighton Jewels diamonds.

Scherzinger’s performance on Sunday night marked her return to the FIFA stage, following her duet with Williams at the Final Draw last year. I’m so grateful to be part of this unforgettable celebration,” her caption read.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final found Spain, the reigning champions of Europe, defeating Argentina, the reigning World Cup champions. The match took place at New York New Jersey Stadium, temporarily renamed from MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, N.J.
The tournament’s first halftime show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, also featured Madonna, Shakira and BTS. Post Malone headlined the pre-match closing ceremony while Jennifer Hudson performed the national anthem.
