Italian reports claim Fenerbahce are preparing a new proposal to Milan for Rafael Leao, who has just joined his teammates in Australia for pre-season training.

The Portugal international has made it clear multiple times that he wants to leave this summer, and the Rossoneri in turn have no intention of renewing his contract that expires in June 2028.

However, the asking price is a minimum of €50m plus add-ons to reach €60m, and they will not be accepting a loan with option or obligation to buy format.

Fenerbahce pushing for Rafael Leao

Fenerbahce had sent directors over to Italy last week for talks, and those were largely exploratory to understand the conditions required both for a club to club agreement, and personal terms with Leao.

It is believed the player is asking for €10m per season wages.

Calciomercato now claim that Fenerbahce are preparing a formal offer over the next few days, knowing the situation and what is required.

Meanwhile, Leao flew out to Perth, where he is training with coach Ruben Amorim and the rest of his Milan teammates.

Galatasaray and Benfica are also known to be interested in Leao, who has no other firm offers outside of the Turkish Super Lig.
