Reports in Italy claim that Roma are ready to send a €30m offer for Strasbourg winger Diego Moreira, but the French club’s demands are much higher.

Roma are ready to send a €30m bid for Belgian winger Moreira, according to Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset. Both sources claim that Roma’s proposal includes a 10% sell-on clause.

Roma set to send offer for Moreira

Roma are looking for attacking reinforcements for 2026-27, but their main target, Mason Greenwood, is set to join Fenerbahce from Marseille, prompting the Giallorossi to look to Moreira.

According to Sky, however, reaching an agreement with Strasbourg won’t be straightforward, given that the French club’s asking price is €50m.

Sky adds that the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is working to find an appropriate transfer formula that could convince Strasbourg to sell the player.

A former Chelsea winger, Moreira joined Strasbourg from the Blues in 2024, and the Premier League side holds a buy-back option, which also allows them to match any offer Strasbourg receive.
