Salem-area soccer fans looking for a place to watch Mexico’s final World Cup group-stage match have a few local options to check before kickoff tonight.

Mexico will face Czechia at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, in its last Group A match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Mexico enters the game with a 2-0-0 record, six points and a plus-three goal differential. Czechia is currently sitting at 0-1-1 with one point and a minus-one goal differential.

Several Mexican bars and restaurants across the Salem area will show their support for Mexico on June 24 by airing the World Cup game on TVs for customers to watch.

Xicha Brewing will host a Mexico vs. Czechia watch party on June 24 beginning at 6 p.m. The restaurant is expecting a busy night with potentially standing room only when tables fill up. They advise people to come early to get a spot.
