Sunderland have ruled out a potential summer departure for Wilson Isidor despite growing interest from West Ham United (Daily Mail).
West Ham have identified the 25-year-old Haiti international as a primary target as manager Nuno Espirito Santo looks to strengthen his attack.
However, Sunderland have made it clear they have no intention of entering negotiations or entertaining offers for Isidor.
Since joining from Zenit St Petersburg initially on loan, the forward has registered 19 goals in 82 appearances across all competitions, including six Premier League goals in 32 outings last season.
Isidor further enhanced his reputation on the international stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Haiti, notably scoring a memorable goal against Morocco.
With Sunderland preparing for a demanding domestic and European schedule after their seventh-placed finish, the Black Cats’ hierarchy want to keep the forward.
Isidor has previously proven his quality in the Championship with a 12-goal campaign before making the step up with Sunderland.
Sunderland’s stance leaves West Ham with a clear decision to make in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.
Unless the Hammers present an extraordinary financial proposal that forces Sunderland to reconsider their stance, they will have to look elsewhere.
West Ham also have their sights set on Troy Parrott. The AZ Alkmaar forward is wanted by four other clubs.
While Sunderland appear set to deal West Ham a transfer blow, they could simultaneously hand them a boost in their pursuit of Simon Adingra.
The Ivorian spent the second half of 2025/26 on loan at Monaco but could now spend next season in London as West Ham eye a loan deal.
