Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior talked to the Brazilian press during this FIFA World Cup and shared some interesting thoughts about his level of attention to Carlo Ancelotti’s instructions.
“Today I played a different position. The coach asked me to play centrally, between two defenders. I don’t often play there, but whenever the coach asks me to and I have to play there, I score goals. I need to listen to him more. He’ll surely say he knows a lot about football when he gets to the locker room,” said Vinicius.
Vinicius has been vocal about wanting to play on the left wing, but Ancelotti used him in the center of the offense quite often. If Brazil want to succeed in this World Cup, Vinicius will have to perform at a very high level.
