Today is the independence day for 1/3rd or the host of the 2026 FIFA world cup. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO the United States of America. Now it’s time for Belgium to sneak past them and get eliminated in the next round.
REFEREE REVIEW
So far the refereeing has been top notch, minus a few hiccups here and there. I love that Refs are no longer stopping play for fouls, even though players still roll on the floor and act like they got shot. Play still continues, and immediately they get up like nothing happened. Sign that they’re not as hurt as they behave. Even if there’s legit pain, they make it look much worse. Lots of players are actors but these refs ain’t falling for it. I hope this gets transferred to the leagues world wide. Especially in La Liga….very little errors have been made by refs in this world cup. I’m impressed.
